Overview
The Player One Phoenix is an electronic filter wheel for mono imaging. It holds a full set of filters, usually LRGB plus hydrogen-alpha, OIII and SII, and changes between them from your capture software without touching the telescope.
Every version is 21 mm thick and made from 6061 aluminium. A Hall sensor reads a magnet on the filter carousel to find each position, which is more repeatable than the light-gate holes many wheels use, and a thin stepper motor moves it quietly and smoothly. It connects with a single USB-C cable, which can run from the USB hub on Player One’s cooled cameras.

Check the thickness of 2″ mounted filters before ordering: some deep cells don’t fit. Player One publishes a drawing of the allowed sizes.
