Bahtinov focusing masks that we design and laser-cut in Shropshire. A Bahtinov mask turns a bright star into three spikes: when the middle spike sits exactly between the other two, your telescope is in focus. Our Pro Bahtinov Masks adjust to fit your dew shield, in eight sizes from 40 to 360 mm.

Finding the right size
Our masks fit over the end of your telescope’s dew shield, so the size you need is its outside diameter. How to measure your dew shield shows how to get it right. Each Pro Bahtinov Mask fits from 2 mm under to 2 mm over its size range.
Tri-Bahtinov masks
A tri-Bahtinov mask has three Bahtinov patterns, so it shows focus and collimation at the same time. We make them for particular telescopes.
