Overview
The ToupTek M54 filter drawer holds a single 2″ filter in a magnetic holder that slides in and out of the imaging train. You can swap a light pollution filter for a dual-band filter, or change filters on a one-shot colour camera, without unscrewing anything or disturbing focus and framing.
Both ends have M54 × 0.75 threads and the holder takes standard 2″ filters with an M48 × 0.75 thread. The drawer is 74 mm across and about 20 mm thick, so allow for it in your back focus spacing.
With a ToupTek OAG-L or OAG-X the fit is light-tight, with no visible leak even in 600-second exposures in daylight. With other adapters, ToupTek advise filling any unused screw holes. Spare holders let you keep each filter ready to drop in.
