Pro Astronomy started with a gift: a Sky-Watcher telescope. One clear night with it and we were hooked.
It wasn’t long before we were designing bits and pieces to make our own kit work better. Other astronomers saw them and started asking for things of their own: adaptors, masks, one-off parts. The requests kept coming. That became a website, then our own range of focusing masks, and then partnerships with the camera brands we now supply.
We’re a small business in Shropshire with big plans, and we’d like to thank everyone who has supported us so far.
What we do
We make. Pro Bahtinov masks, Tri-Bahtinov masks and star spike generators, designed and made by us in Shropshire. If we don’t list a mask for your telescope, we’ll make one to measure.
We supply. Astronomy cameras from Player One and ToupTek, and a growing range of telescopes and accessories. Warranty and support are handled by us in the UK.
We design. Custom adaptors and new product ideas, brought to life with 3D design, 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC machining. See Design services.
What you can expect from us
